We are less than 40 days from the beginning of all thats right in the world when college football kicks off its 2009 season.  The absolute homer in me knows that Im that many days away from laying down outlandish football prop bets and against all odds sorts of wagers for Ole Miss to make it to lands it had before only dreamed of or seen in black and white reel to reel.  That being said, there are some interesting futures bets out there to start the season, namely the Heisman Trophy candidates.  It looks like a 3 horse race between Tebow, Bradford, and McCoy, but other notables may be worth a look.  Go all in with the list of Heisman futures and a little online betting, after the jump.

  1. I was in Vegas in April and put $20 down on Auburn to make it to the BCS Championship game (not win mind you).

    If they do I make a cool $2,500

    and if they open the season with a loss to La. Tech I have a cute novelty item.
